Full Mouth Rehabilitation: Rebuilding Confidence with Implant-Supported Dentures

Background

Complete missing of teeth can make people feel embarrassed about their smiles. This patient had been struggling with complete edentulism (missing all teeth) for several years, affecting their confidence and ability to eat their favourite foods.

Assessment

CBCT imaging revealed adequate bone volume for dental implant placement in both arches. The patient was evaluated for implant-supported fixed prosthesis.

Treatment Plan

• Placement of multiple dental implants in upper and lower jaws
• Healing period of 3-4 months for osseointegration
• Fabrication of implant-supported fixed dentures
• Final delivery and occlusion adjustment

Outcome

The patient received a full set of implant-supported fixed dentures. They reported significantly improved chewing function, comfort, and confidence. The patient was able to enjoy their favourite foods again and smile without hesitation. Follow-up at 1 year showed stable implants and healthy peri-implant tissues.
